Welcome to Gerken's Organics Farm!
Welcome to Gerken's Organics! We are a family of five who have embraced the farm life on the Western Slopes of Colorado. Our farm is not only home to us but also to an extended family of furry friends. We share our space with six lovable dogs, two cats, and a special indoor KuneKune pig named Paonia!
Over the past four years, our farm and our commitment to living in harmony with the planet have grown tremendously. We deeply value and appreciate the interconnectedness between nature and ourselves. In all that we do, we strive to honor and respect the natural world around us, while also prioritizing our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Living a purpose-driven life in relationship with the planet is a continuous and ever-evolving journey. It challenges us, teaches us, and transforms us for the better. It requires faith, unwavering commitment, moments of both joy and sadness, sleepless nights, dedicated effort, and a constant openness to adapt and embrace change. Despite the challenges, we wouldn't choose to spend this incredibly precious time on earth any other way!
